Tuthill's

Way back in June of 2009, The Tuthill's bid on a 16x20 canvas by Lil Bugaboo Creations in an auction and won. That's when their son, who happened to be a student in my class, choose for me to paint something surf themed for his awesome surfer dream bedroom. He has a boat shaped bed and surf boards all over. I painted him this...

This past June the family bid to win another 16x20... and won! This one would be for their daughter who also loves the beach and surfing. They ended up hiring me to paint a mural in her room. See Surf Mural post earlier...

Here is her 16x20 canvas...

Let's see if they bid on this years auction!

Giveaway...

So this past Weekend I teamed up with JAR Photography and Design in a random giveaway. My long time friend and owner of JAR was approaching 700 "likers" on her fan facebook page so she hosted a two for one giveaway. One winner would win a FREE mini session with her AND a FREE canvas painting by lil Bugaboo!!

It was a good way for me to expand my clientele and keep this ball rolling! Plus I was in desperate need to paint something... Very theraputic. As my fan facebook page of likers grew I notice that my stagnent 64 likers was quickly approaching 100 in just 2 days time! Very exciting!! We sent out an update to the giveaway saying if lil Bugaboo reached 100 then we would have TWO lucky winners... Tada! I am currently at 125 likers! Thank thank! Can't wait to start on the two new piece!

I have two projects currently in the works also... Stay tuned for the biggest canvas I have ever painted on and a beach mural!! Very fun!

Baby Shower for the Murrays

The CANDY BAR debuted at the Murray baby shower! Mommy's theme for the shower was modern chic with the colors of blue, brown, and white like the colors they used to decorate baby's nursery.

I used kisses and coca cola gummies, Pina colada flavored licorice and sour straws, dove chocolate wrapped in blue, M&Ms, and assorted chocolate candy pieces.

For her gift I painted an 11X20 canvas wall art for the nursery. Mom and Dads favorite place to go is the Huntington Beach Pier...
